BY THE WAY...
The next time you're dining at Osteria Fasulo, take a closer look at the watermark on our dessert menu. It's a black and white photograph of a little boy.
The little boy in the picture is Leonardo when he was two years old. It was taken in Argentina — where he was born — when his mamma and papa hired a professional photographer to capture their little boy on camera.
The picture is very sweet and quite appropriate to our dessert menu because you will find that Leonardo holds in his hand a 'half-eaten' biscotti (Italian cookie).
But sweeter still is that he's handing his biscotti to share with the gentleman taking his photograph.
The photograph is priceless — I think our guests will agree — Leonardo was a beautiful baby.
Guests will come to learn that Leonardo still shares biscotti with his guests, as well as Baci (chocolate Italian kisses) and Perugini candies.
Only this time, the sweets are not 'half-eaten'.
